In this Episode of "SmittysFishing", we head out of Port Everglades (Fort Lauderdale, Fl) in search of Blackfin Tuna and Sailfish. We had an early start and we were able to cast net over 5 dozen medium to large sized pilchards by the beach. We then made some drifts around mid day. Ended up catching 3 Blackfin Tunas. The bite then stopped. We stuck with it for the rest of the day and we decided to run south of the port to do one more drift. We got set up and one of our rods starts bouncing like a fish playing with our bait. Kevin then picks the rod up and a magnificent sailfish jumps out of the water. Kevin fights the sail for about 20 minutes in all. This sail almost spooled us.
