Took a few tuna novices out for some inshore bluefin tuna fishing. Conditions were perfect in the morning, rode out in N 5-10 knot winds, seas 2-3 in swells. Made 25 knots with a full load. Lines in by 6:30 AM. Went 5 for 5 on BFT, 4 30+" 25+ lbs, and 1 just bigger than a football. Kept 1 for the table and released the rest unharmed. Headed in at 11:30 AM when conditions turned snotty, NE winds 10-15 knots with gusts and waves 2-4 in chop. Great day had by all.Can you count how many times he grunts or sighs? I got 7 or 8. You should have seen him passed out on the couch later that day :)Note: I misquoted the NMFS recreational BFT limit at 43" when it is really 47" -- nonetheless, this fish was released unharmed after pictures! (For 2007: 1 BFT 27"-47", 2 BFT 47"-73", and 1 greater than 73"
